Dent describes himself as the original guitar player of the then-unnamed Dyed Emotions. Although he wandered away to teach music in public schools, a chance meeting with Raven during the North American solar eclipse in 2017 led to Dent being invited to contribute to the third album. Dent gratefully and enthusiastically rejoined Dyed Emotions, bringing his extensive musical experience and formal training to compliment the eclectic sound of the Celebratory Fire project, and earning his name in the process.
